Skoda Superb Gains New Sportline Plus Flagship Packed With Literally Everything

Skoda is offering the Superb with even more standard kit in the new SportLine Plus trim level in order to meet the significant customer demand in the UK.

The Skoda flagship model will offer more value to customers looking for a fully-loaded version of the Superb.

The new SportLine Plus combines the sportier appearance of the standard SportLine model with additional equipment, such as Columbus satellite navigation with 9.2-inch touchscreen display and integrated Wi-Fi, heated front seats, blind spot detection, electronically operated boot and progressive dynamic steering.

The exterior of the Skoda Superb SportLine Plus features 19-inch Anthracite Vega alloys, sportier bumpers, gloss black detailing and privacy glass. Hatchback versions also get a rear black spoiler, with the Estate getting gloss black roof rails and a body-colored spoiler.

The standard kit also includes features like bi-xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensors, Drive Mode Select, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and cruise control. Ride height is lowered by 15mm, and there’s also an XDS electronic differential lock.

The cabin of the new Skoda Superb SportLine Plus features silver stitching on the steering wheel, quilted Alcantara sports seats, LED ambient lighting, carbon dash trim and aluminum pedals.

Despite offering an impressive range of additional features, the Skoda Superb SportLine Plus commands a £1,500 premium over the standard SportLine. This represents a 40 percent saving over the individual option costs.

Customers in the UK will be able to choose between three petrol and two diesel engine options, as well as opt for the all-wheel drive and six-speed DSG transmission. The most powerful version of the Skoda Superb remains the 2.0-liter TSI 280PS 4×4, which offers a 0-62mph (100km/h) in 5.8 seconds.

Prices for the new Skoda Superb SportLine Plus start from £29,330 for the hatchback and from £30,645 for the estate.
