An allegedly leaked video shot inside The Boring Company’s headquarters in Las Vegas shows a secret Tesla prototype of a multi-passenger vehicle with transparent bodywork.
The glass-covered van is reportedly a prototype designed for the Las Vegas Loop. It appears to have 11 passenger seats plus one for the driver, behind a Tesla-branded steering wheel. The transparent panels are supported by a metal frame, while the interior is accessible through a bus-style sliding door. We can also see that the vehicle rides on black Tesla wheels, likely sourced from the Model 3.

Overall, the model looks like a rough take on Tesla’s “futuristic-looking dedicated robotaxi” which was previewed in official renderings a while ago.
The video of the presumably electric prototype was published on Twitter by Las Vegas content creator Jacob Orth. Despite being uploaded earlier today, it has already gathered over 200k views. It is not clear if this is an ongoing project by The Boring Company which reportedly gave up on building the majority of its proposed tunnels last year. In fact, a Reddit user commented that he saw this prototype four years ago.
Tesla has long-teased us about a van/LCV and/or a robotaxi, although the pictured vehicle is most likely pretty far from previewing a future production model. The proposed van/LCV appeared in an official teaser a few months ago.
