The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a car event unlike any other and this year’s event has attracted a dizzying array of supercars and hypercars, many of which are featured in these three high-paced, high-action videos recently shared to YouTube after the event’s first day.
No doubt one of the highlights of this year’s event has been the global launch of the long-awaited Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and on the first day, it celebrated its unveiling with a smoky display of donuts along the famed hillclimb. However, it’s not the Ioniq 5 N that’s featured prominently in these clips but rather some much more powerful and expensive creations.

One of the key highlights is the McLaren Solus GT. This track-only creation is powered by a high-revving 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10 and is truly unlike anything McLaren has created before it. Not only does it look fast but it also sounds incredible. A trio of Aston Martin Valkyries are also attending this year’s event, including an AMR Pro model and one of the new Valkyrie Spiders, no doubt one of the most remarkable drop-tops ever conceived.
Then we have the Bugatti Bolide. It is still in the midst of a grueling development schedule but Bugatti has found the time to bring a naked carbon fiber prototype to the event and while it isn’t pushing it too hard, there’s no denying that its throaty exhaust note is unique. This weekend’s event will also be the first time that many will see the hybrid Lamborghini Reveulto as well as the off-road-ready Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato.
The latest one-off Ferrari is also doing runs up the hillclimb. It is known as the KC23 and is based on the 488 GT3 Evo but features a completely revised body. Other cars featured in these clips include the likes of the Koenigsegg Jesko, Pagani Huayra R, and the Gordon Murray T.50 with its other-worldly naturally-aspirated V12.
