We have little doubt that each of the 1,963 examples of the Porsche 911 S/T being built will be quickly sold out and while we’ll probably never have one parked in our garage, we can at least dream thanks to the car’s recently-released online configurator.
The 911 has a starting price of $291,650 in the U.S. but this quickly increased once you start to spec it out. Indeed, the only no-cost paint options are White and Black. There are then six Special color options available, consisting of Shade Green Metallic, GT Silver Metallic, Gentian Blue Metallic, Ruby Star Neo, Ice Grey Metallic, and Shore Blue Metallic, each commanding a $4,200 premium. Those looking for something more unique can cough up $20,960 for one of the available Paint to Sample colors or $43,390 to create a custom color. Ours is finished in Acid Green.
With the exterior color selected, you can choose to have the standard 20- and 21-inch wheels finished in either silver, satin dark silver, or satin black, the latter two of which add $1,290 to the price tag. There are just two interior main configurations available with the leather either finished in black with GT Silver stitching or a Heritage Design leather Interior with Black and Classic Cognac surfaces. Shoppers can choose between full bucket seats or Porsche’s sport seats plus. If neither of these pre-configured interiors suit the customer, leather trim is offered in a host of different colors.
