Audi is putting the finishing touches on the 2019 Q3 and an Autokult.pl reader recently had a chance to scope out the crossover’s significantly improved interior.

The publication was nice enough to share the images with us and they reveal the redesigned crossover will have a high-tech cabin with a digtial instrument cluster and a new steering wheel. The model also has a new infotainment system which resides in a metal-trimmed housing that is similar to the one used on the new A6 and A7.

While the latter models have a lower 8.6-inch display, the Q3 has conventional switchgear which allows front seat occupants to independently adjust their climate control settings. Below the three knobs are a series of buttons which control the hazard lights, parking sensors and Drive Select system.

We can also see a leather-wrapped shifter, a push-button ignition and metallic accents. The center console also has a small storage area with an auxiliary input and a USB charging port.

Previous spy photos have shown the exterior styling won’t be as adventurous as the crossover will have a familiar front fascia with a wide grille and angular headlights. However, there will be more dynamic bodywork and muscular rear fenders.

The Q3 will go into production later this year and the model is expected to be offered with an assortment of 1.5- and 2.0-liter engines. Later down the road, we can expect a plug-in hybrid variant as well as a high-performance RS model with a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder developing around 400 PS (298 kW). There have also been rumors about an electric model with range of up to 300 km (186 miles) on a single charge.
