Fisker has released additional details about the Force E off-road package following its debut earlier this month.

Available on the Ocean One and Ocean Extreme, the package will include a revised suspension with “specialized dampers.” The company didn’t go into specifics, but promised the crossover will have additional ground clearance.

Those aren’t the only changes as the package will include 20-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires. They’ll be joined by front and rear skid plates as well as additional underbody protection. Last but not least, a “special off-road mode, delivering off-road-performance powertrain settings, … will be delivered via [an] over-the air update.” Customers will also be able to purchase an optional roof basket.

Fisker Force E Package Aims To Turn The Ocean Into An Eco-Friendly Off-Roader

While the upgrades sound pretty tame, Fisker released pictures of a hardcore Ocean equipped with a rugged front bumper, orange D-rings, and unique fender flares. The model also has special graphics and a unique rear end with a central recovery point.

In a statement, CEO Henrik Fisker said “Force E is our effort to bring zero-emissions to the off-roading world, so that people who love the outdoors can experience it in a more sustainable way and without the negatives associated with the internal combustion vehicles that have dominated the segment for decades.”

The Force E package is slated to become available in the first quarter of 2024. It will be available from the factory as well as through a “post-purchase add-on package.” The company also said the package will be offered on the Ultra trim, although there’s no word on timing at this point.
