Accidents happen all of the time but sometimes the person responsible for it tries to get away. In this case, the at-fault driver was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Trax and when they attempted to run away, the car they hit gave chase. Given that the car they hit was a Porsche 911 GT3 the chase was short and sounded amazing.

We’ve seen plenty of other hit-and-run incidents here. Sometimes the criminals appear to get away. In other cases, they leave identifying pieces behind like their license plate. And in one case, they’re actor Gary Busey and the victim tracks them down while filming.

In this instance, the video comes to us from the dashcam mounted inside of a Porsche 911 GT3 featured on the YouTube channel Calispeed. The video shows the Porsche in lane three trundling along while a silver Chevrolet Trax in lane one makes two consecutive lane changes.

In doing so, it appears that the Trax driver doesn’t see the Porsche at all or just simply ignores it. In any case, the Trax driver bumps into the Porsche and we hear a crunch followed by the sound of pieces rattling around on the road. Somewhat wildly, the Trax driver then guns it, seemingly attempting to speed away from the scene and escape accountability.

That’s when the Porsche driver drops a couple of gears and reels in the compact SUV with ease. The Chevrolet driver then appears to notice the futility of running and pulls into a parking lot.

According to the video description, the Trax owner blamed the Porsche driver first, then claimed that they didn’t have their insurance card only to later admit that they didn’t have insurance – which pretty much explains why they tried to flee in the first place.
