A series of improvements have been made to the Skoda Enyaq vRS for the 2024 model year, transforming it into the quickest accelerating production car that Skoda has ever produced. It benefits from improved performance and its driving range is now longer.
Skoda has first updated the two electric motors driving the Enyaq vRS to deliver a combined 335 hp as opposed to the 295 hp of the outgoing model. This extra power cuts the SUV’s 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time from 6.5 to 5.5 seconds. Not only is the 2024 Enyaq vRS the quickest Skoda production model but it is also the most powerful.
Skoda’s engineers have also recalibrated the motors and introduced new power management software that allows the Enyaq vRS to travel 336 miles (540 km) in standard SUV guise and 340 miles (547 km) in Coupe SUV guise, representing range gains of 15 miles (24 km) and 16 miles (25 km) respectively. The increase in range has been achieved despite the battery capacity staying the same at 77 kWh.
The updates don’t stop there. The 2024 Enyaq vRS now offers 175 kW DC rapid charging speeds as opposed to the 135 kW peak of the old model. This means the EV can charge from 10-80% in just 28 minutes, a significant 8-minute improvement. Various new features also come standard, including travel assist and speed assist, walk-away locking, rear side airbags, rear window blinds, rear USB-C charging ports, and tow bar prep.

Skoda has also updated the Enyaq vRS’s infotainment and instrument cluster display with new icons and redesigned charging and climate screens. Other new features include the reworked navigation graphics and an optional head-up display that’s been redesigned to be clearer and more intuitive.
Buyers in the UK will have two optional packages they can order. The first is the ‘Advanced’ package which adds the aforementioned head-up display, heated rear seats, heated windshield, and a CANTON sound system. The ‘Maxx’ package then adds electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, power lumbar support, and driver’s massage function. It also adds an Area view camera, Park assist with trained parking, Dynamic Chassis Control, a 3-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters for the brake regen, and progressive steering. The Advanced package will set back shoppers £2,035 ($2,454) while the Maxx has been priced from £3,980 ($4,799).
Order books will open for the 2024 Enyaq vRS later this month.
