Although it unveiled it months ago, Chevrolet had previously only announced how much power the top-of-the-line Blazer EV SS model would make. Now, it has been disclosed that lesser trim levels of the AWD all-electric model will make 288 hp (215 kW/292 PS) and 333 lb-ft (451 Nm) of torque.

That’s significantly less than the high-performance SS model, which makes 557 hp (415 kW/565 PS) and 648 lb-ft (878 Nm) of torque, but should still be plenty for most EV drivers. Unfortunately, we still don’t know how much power the FWD version of the Blazer EV 2LT or the RWD version of the RS will make. However, the FWD Chevrolet Equinox EV makes 210 hp (157 kW/213 PS) and 242 lb-ft (328 Nm) of torque.

The power figures were reported by Car and Driver, which cited a Chevrolet spokesperson as the source of the information. The first time power figures for these models have been revealed, this will be helpful data for buyers because the AWD RS trim will be the first to hit dealer showrooms this summer.

Prices for the Blazer EV RS AWD are expected to start at $60,215, and it will have 279 miles (449 km) of range per charge. Strangely, the RS RWD is set to cost a little more at $61,790. Meanwhile, the AWD version of the 2LT trim will have an MSRP of $56,715.

Prices for the SS trim, as well as the FWD version of the 2LT trim, have not yet been released. A rolling launch will see these trim levels entering the market at different times. The RS AWD will kick things off in the summer, the RS RWD and 2LT AWD will then arrive in the fall, and the SS will come in the spring of 2025. Unfortunately, the 1LT, once the model’s entry level trim that was supposed to start at $44,995, has been canceled.
