Sierra Cars has introduced their new Echo lineup ahead of the SEMA Show.
Set to be offered in three different configurations, the Echo promises to push the “boundaries of electric vehicle technology” while also maintaining the brand’s “exclusive appeal.”
Kicking things off is the Echo Base, which costs $39,000. The entry-level model has an 18.6 kWh battery pack and a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 150 hp (112 kW / 152 PS) and 165 lb-ft (223 Nm) of torque. This will reportedly enable the 1,350 lbs (612 kg) model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 80 mph (129 km/h).
Putting the powertrain aside, the single seat EV is slated to be launched next year and have a hardcore suspension with Fox shocks. The company also said we can expect 15-inch Sparco wheels wrapped in 26-inch “gravel rally” tires.

Moving up the trim ladder is the “rally/gymkhana-inspired” Echo R-Spec. It features an upgraded powertrain producing 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque. The weight and price tag climb to 1,500 lbs (680 kg) and $74,900 respectively, but the top speed also increases to more than 100 mph (161 km/h).
Last but not least, there’s the Echo Block Edition, which costs $85,000 and is limited to seven units. Optimized for competing at Pikes Peak, the model has a revised powertrain with 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 368 lb-ft (498 Nm) of torque. Besides being more powerful, the Block Edition tips the scales at 1,350 lbs (612 kg) and can hit a top speed of 120 mph (193 km/h).
Lucy Block used the special edition at Pikes Peak earlier this year and came in 47th place overall with a time of 11:25.315, which made it a few seconds slower than a Rivian R1T. That’s not exactly an impressive result, but a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Block family’s non-profit foundation.
