After Tom’s Racing previewed its wild aerodynamic upgrades for the Toyota GR Corolla back in February, the tuner and racing team has officially unveiled its creation at the SEMA Show and is also displaying it at the Japan Mobility Show running until November 5.
Most would agree that the standard GR Corolla is quite an imposing hot hatch to look at, particularly the Circuit and Morizo Editions. The upgrades from Tom’s Racing make it even more striking and this is no more obvious than the overhauled front fascia where the original grille has been ditched in favor of a rectangular grille which we think looks a little odd. Some of the other upgrades are a little more pleasing to the eye.

For example, Tom’s Racing has also radically redesigned the GR Corolla’s front bumper and incorporated two large aerodynamic canards onto each side. It has also developed a new gloss black splitter for the hot hatch. The modifications continue along the sides of the car with tweaked black vents on the front quarter panels and new side skirts. A set of aftermarket five-spoke wheels then helps to tie everything together, as do the rebranded red brake calipers.
Plenty of work has been done to the rear of the Toyota too. For starters, Tom’s Racing has created a bold new wing for the car that has its own canards on the outer flanks. Hidden beneath this wing is a secondary spoiler stretching out from the top of the rear window. Completing the looks is a distinctive diffuser and a new exhaust developed in-house by the tuner.
Unfortunately, Tom’s Racing has not yet announced pricing details for its GR Corolla upgrades but is expected to confirm details soon.
