As you may be aware, the fashion world is experiencing something of a fascination with old school racing gear. This has caught the attention of Toyota, which recently partnered with streetwear brand HUF to create a line of clothes and accessories inspired by its in-house racing team.
Toyota Racing Development has been around for a long time, and HUF’s designers are taking advantage of that longevity. The HUF x TRD collection features a number of items emblazoned with colors and graphics inspired by the team’s racing efforts in the ’70s.
“Built from hand-drawn illustrations that call back to old-school sketchbooks, workwear and mechanic styles, and under-the-hood schematics, HUF × TRD creates a modern apparel and accessory collection that brings off-road style to a new arena,” Toyota wrote.

The collection includes a variety of pieces, including workwear, polar fleeces, jacquard Sherpas, classic tees, hoodies, and crewnecks. In addition, there’s HUF TRD Global Racing Jacket, the Schematic Double Knee Pant, the TRD Work Jacket, the HUF TRD Racing Sweater, and even an Off Road Rug.
HUF says that this collection brings Toyota’s history to modern silhouettes and styles. Founded in 2002, the Los Angeles-based fashion brand was started by professional skateboarder Keith Hufnagle, and it continues to focus on streetwear and skate fashion.
In addition to the clothes and accessories, Toyota and HUF have also partnered on a custom vehicle. Given the collection’s off-road inspirations, it won’t come as a surprise that the result is the 2023 HUF x TRD Pro Tundra that can be seen above.
The clothing collection is set to launch on November 9, and will be available for sale on HUF’s website, as well as at select HUF retailers.
