Zeekr published the first photos of the all-new 007 electric sedan prior to its forthcoming debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The EV introduces a new styling language for the Geely-owned brand, with fancy LEDs on both ends differentiating it from the rest of the Zeekr lineup.
The styling of the new model was overseen by Zeekr’s head of design Stefan Sielaff, known for his previous work in Audi and Bentley. Instead of adopting the split headlight treatment of other Zeekr models, the 007 has full-width panels with animated LED graphics on both ends giving it a more futuristic look. When the car is parked, those panels are black, putting up a lighting show when the owner turns it on.

The proportions and sleek surfacing are typical of modern electric sedans, with a bi-tone treatment making the pillars and mirror caps stand out from the rest of the bodywork. The pillars actually remind us of the Aston Martin DBX Crossover concept from 2015, while the clamshell trunk with the slim taillights sends Lucid Air and Porsche Taycan vibes.
Zeekr didn’t publish photos of the interior but the roof is entirely covered by glass, allowing us a glimpse of the five-seater cabin. We can see a part of the digital cockpit on the dashboard and several speakers hinting at a high-end audio system. According to local media, the glass roof integrates a technology called “nano-silvered privacy dome” allowing different levels of transparency and providing excellent thermal insulation.
The Zeekr 007 also comes equipped with a trio of LiDAR sensors mounted on the roof and front fenders, supporting sophisticated autonomous driving systems.
Geely didn’t announce the specifications of the model but Chinese media report it will measure 4,865 mm (191.5 inches) long, 1,900 mm (74.8 inches) wide, and 1,450 mm (57.1 inches) tall with a wheelbase of 2,928 mm (115.3 inches). Those figures place it closer to the Tesla Model S than the smaller Model 3 in terms of footprint.
According to Car News China, the EV will ride on the PMA2+ architecture which is a derivative of Geely’s widely used SEA underpinnings. The same publication suggests that the Zeekr 007 will come fitted with a single electric motor producing 204 hp and 350 Nm torque, allowing a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 6.5 seconds. Still, it is safe to assume that Zeekr will roll out more versions in the future, likely with a more powerful dual electric motor setup. An 800V battery pack of unknown capacity will allegedly take 30 minutes for a full charge.
We will learn more about the Zeekr 007 on its official debut which is scheduled for November 17th at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The electric sedan will be Zeekr’s fourth model, joining the 001 Shooting Brake, the 009 minivan, and the X compact SUV.
