Regardless of where you live in the United States, if you own a 2022-2023 Ford Mustang and want to give it a lot more power, you can now pick up Roush Performance’s impressive supercharger kit for the reasonable price of $8,799.99.

Roush introduced its Stage 2 supercharger kit for the 2022-2023 Mustang back in March but at the time, was still waiting on E.O. approval to sell it and for installs to be allowed in California and other states that require an E.O. number. It has now received all the necessary approvals and can now sell its upgrade package across the country. For those who don’t want to cough up for a used Shelby GT500, Roush’s supercharger kit is perhaps the best alternative.

The kit works on all 2022-2023 Mustang GT models with the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 but does not work with the Mach 1 and Bullitt models. It includes an Eaton TVS RS2650 supercharger with a four-lobe rotor design and 14 pounds of boost. The tuner has also developed a new radiator to ensure everything remains cool and all the necessary software to ensure the V8 runs perfectly.

Roush’s 750 HP Ford Mustang Kit Is Now Legal In All 50 States

From the factory, the Mustang GT produces 450 hp and 410 lb-ft (556 Nm) of torque when running on 87-octane fuel. Roush’s supercharger kit lifts these figures to a monumental 750 hp and 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) on 93-octane fuel, promising to absolutely transform the way that the car drives.

The kit takes approximately 16 hours to install and comes with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty when installed by a Ford dealer or an Automotive Service Excellence-certified technician.

For as compelling as the $8,799.99 supercharger kit is, tempted buyers would be wise to pair it with an aftermarket braking system that’s better suited to handling so much power. Unfortunately, Roush itself doesn’t sell individual brake upgrades for the pony car so you’ll have to look elsewhere.
