McLaren Sports Series customers in the U.S. can now place their order for a new 570S Spider fitted with the British marque’s Design Edition specifications.

In total, there are five available specs, each offering different themes based around signature McLaren color and trim options. The five new Design Editions have been created specifically for the McLaren Sports Series convertible.

“There is a virtually limitless number of different personalization opportunities for the McLaren 570S Spider and who better to begin the process than the people who designed it,” says McLaren design boss, Rob Melville. “We have selected key exterior and interior colors and finishes that we believe showcase the 570S Spider in the most desirable way and are offering them as Design Editions that we as designers would choose.”

Each of the five Editions revolves around a special body paint, as buyers can choose between Silica White, Storm Grey, Vermillion Red, Onyx Black and Vega Blue, each matched to an interior scheme. According to McLaren, four of the themes are said to be more sporty, whereas one more luxurious.

These images show the McLaren 570S Spider Design Edition 4, which is an Onyx Black model. As you can see, the hard-top is in body color, while the 10-spoke alloys come with a Stealth finish, revealing the contrasting McLaren Orange brake calipers with black printed McLaren logos.

Inside, there’s Carbon Black Alcantara, McLaren Orange nappa leather, McLaren Orange perforated nappa leather seats with contrast stitching, a color coordinated steering wheel and branded leather sill finishers.

Opting for any of the five Design Edition packages will set you back between $9,840 and $12,900, added to the 570S Spider’s MSRP of $208,800.
