The holiday season has officially arrived as Lexus has released this year’s “December to Remember” campaign. However, the company isn’t just limiting themselves to one commercial as they’ll run three different ads and a TikTok collaboration to boot.
The most interesting ad is called “Sled Dogs” and it stars man’s best-friend as well as the all-new Lexus GX. In the clip, a Siberian Husky ‘barks’ orders to a woman driving the redesigned luxury SUV. After following the dog’s directions, they’re reunited with a broken-down sled team.

The 2024 GX will arrive early next year with a boxy new design and a tech-focused interior. Customers will also find a new Overtrail trim, which sports 18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires.
Power comes from a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6, which develops 349 hp (260 kW / 354 PS) and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. A hybrid variant will arrive later and presumably echo the Land Cruiser, which has a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, a 1.87 kWh battery pack, and an eight-speed automatic transmission with an integrated electric motor. This setup gives the model a combined output of 326 hp (243 kW / 331 PS) and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque.
Overnight Lexus
The second commercial is called “Overnight Lexus” and it features the three-row TX, which was launched earlier this year. In the clip, a father is reading Jack and the Beanstalk to his son, who is intrigued by the idea of burying magic beans.
As a result, he goes outside and buries a toy car in the snow. The family wakes up the next day to find an all-new Lexus TX outside.
The three-row crossover is all-new for 2024 and is closely related to the Toyota Grand Highlander. It features a roomy cabin as well as three different powertrains including a plug-in hybrid variant with 404 hp (301 kW / 410 PS) as well as an electric-only range of 33 miles (53 km).
A TikTok Partnership And An Ad On Las Vegas’ Sphere
Besides the two new commercials, Lexus is bringing back last year’s “Time Machine” which stars the RX. The company is also teaming up with TikTok creator Sebastian Jern (@sebastianjern) and showing an ad on Las Vegas’ Sphere. In regards to the latter, Lexus said “Visitors will be entranced by a snow-covered globe’s icy exterior cracking open to reveal an all-new 2024 Lexus GX adorned with the brand’s signature big red bow.”
It’s also worth noting Lexus hasn’t forgotten about the meaning of the season as they’re donating $150,000 (£119,975 / €137,115) to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
