Porsche didn’t just paint the town red with the all-new 2024 Panamera; they added a touch of sparkle and luxury. Crafted by the brand’s Exclusive Manufaktur division to showcase the personlaization options, the Panamera Turbo “Sonderwunsch” (or “special request” for those not fluent in German) made its grand entrance in Shanghai, China, flaunting a bespoke color scheme and a clear coat that’s not just shiny – it’s got real gold in the mix.

Unlike other products from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, this one wasn’t made for a particular customer. Instead, it demonstrates what the automaker can do for prospective owners of the Panamera who really want to stand out from the crowd.

The special Panamera boasts a custom purple shade called “Leblon Violet Metallic,” which adorns the upper portion of the bodywork. Below, you’ll find a gradient that seamlessly transitions to a solid black tone. But that’s not all – the clear coat contains “flakes vaporized with real gold,” giving it an eye-catching sparkle.

The 21-inch center-lock wheels also take center stage, accentuated by Avium metallic accents that match the window frames. The bronzite-finished tailpipes provide a contrast to the black bumper extensions and side sills. This dark aesthetic is further enhanced by tinted headlights, taillights, and windows. Topping off the changes are the new Turbonite Porsche crest and multi-colored rear lettering.

According to Detlev von Platen, Board Member for Sales and Marketing, the interior was “deliberately not finished and will follow next year”.

The “Sonderwunsch” is based on the 2024 Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, which means it produces a combined 670 hp (500 kW / 680 PS) from a twin-turbo V8 and a single electric motor.

Porsche hasn’t disclosed the cost of the “Sonderwunsch” treatment but has mentioned that customers who want something similarly unique can contact the Exclusive Manufaktur Sonderwunsch team via their Porsche Center.
