The Tesla Cybertruck is (finally) almost here, with the official delivery event scheduled for Wednesdays, November 30th. However, there are still several important details that remain unknown. Despite this, a few new details and accessories have leaked through the Tesla app. Here’s a quick breakdown of what we now know about one of the most anticipated vehicle unveilings of the year
Love it or hate it, the Cybertruck demands attention. The very first deliveries happen tomorrow and it’s expected that most of the vital stats will come out at the same time. What we’ve learned today though is that the Cybertruck is coming with a new mode, some fun options, and a few different wheel sets.
Files inside of the latest update of the Tesla app highlight new information. For starters, Cybertruck owners will have the chance to add a bespoke tent to the pickup. Dubbed “BaseCamp”, it appears as though it’ll integrate into the bed section, not unlike many other aftermarket and sometimes factory options seen in the past.

The same data leak suggests that there’s an all-new “Beast Mode” coming to the vehicle. An image appears to demonstrate exactly what it’ll look like when engaged. Expect the huge infotainment screen to show similar graphics in the same way that the Plaid model shows its “Plaid Mode” graphic. Elon Musk even hinted at the existence of a Beast Mode a few weeks ago while recording a podcast with Joe Rogan. This new image confirms it.
Three different wheel sets will be available too. Interestingly, the app only has visual representations of two of them. We’ve seen one set already on the truck, but they’re accompanied by a smaller version that isn’t quite as detailed. A third set is listed but not shown in the app. Buyers can also add a couple of other features.
The coding of the app mentions an optional lightbar. We expect this to be the same as the one we’ve seen on some Cybertruck test vehicles in the past. Notably, there’s a mention of solar power too. Tesla will likely offer a solar panel on the tonneau cover but maybe more is coming.
