Luxury automakers have become as much lifestyle brands as they are manufacturers of high-end automobiles, offering everything from watches to fitted luggage to complement their elegant motor vehicles.
That’s at least as true of Aston Martin as it is of any other marque, and now the British carmaker has come out with the perfect pair of sneakers to lace up for that high-speed transcontinental romp in your new DB11.
The leather kicks are made in collaboration with Italian shoemaker Hogan and are based on the latter’s Olympia model – but with unique Aston Martin flair. They combine nylon mesh inserts for a sportier look and feel, together with their leather construction that includes elements made by the same craftsmen that upholster the interior of so many Vantages and Vanquishes in such exquisite style.
They’ll be available from Hogan and Aston Martin’s lifestyle boutique on London’s Dover Street in four different colorways. Only 3,000 pairs will be offered, and if you have to ask the price, you probably don’t have the Aston to wear them in anyway. (We can tell tell you, though, that Hogan’s sneakers typically retail for about $400.)
