The Rogue is Nissan’s best-selling SUV in North America and, for 2024, it decided to make the model even better. That means a very minor design update, new Google apps in the infotainment system, and a slightly higher price.
For 2024 the Rogue S and SV — the entry level models — see a price increase of $960, but the higher trim SL and Platinum models have received a $1,460 price bump for the new model year. That means that the crossover starts at $29,685 (all prices include $1,365 destination charge), while the top of the line Platinum AWD model has an MSRP of $41,465.

For that extra cash, owners get gloss-black fenders, lower trim pieces, new 19-inch wheels, and available Chestnut brown leather upholstery for a richer, darker color. However, the real appeal of the 2024 model is the Google Built-in.
Offered as standard in the SL and Platinum grades, Nissan says that the Rogue is the only vehicle in its class to offer Google Built-in. The system offers a number of advantages, such as a seamless user experience.

Whether you have a smartphone on you or not, you can use Google Maps to find your way around town. Any other Google apps you use, such as your calendar, are also attached to your account, which is built into the vehicle.
The apps stay up to date, for higher accuracy, and owners will be able to make use of Google Assistant, which makes voice commands easier to issue. The assistant is compatible with things like your smart thermostat, and can make changes to the climate control within the vehicle.
Nissan says it worked long and hard on its infotainment system to ensure that it was ready to handle the demands of Google apps and other systems. It says that it wants to offer customers an instant, smartphone-like experience, and found that its engineers struggled to burden the system’s CPU with enough tasks to slow it down.
All models will continue to be powered by Nissan’s 1.5-liter variable-compression turbo engine, which makes 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 225 lb-ft (305 Nm) of torque. It is paired exclusively to an Xtronic CVT transmission.
In addition, all models will come with Nissan Safety Shield 360, which offers automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warnings, high beam assist, and more.
Meanwhile, ProPILOT Assist 1.1 will be exclusive to buyers who opt for the SL or Platinum grades. The advanced driver assistance system offers intelligent cruise control and steering assistance, in addition to monitoring the road ahead to proactively slow for curves.
The 2024 Nissan Rogue will go on sale soon.
