Although we tend to call any second-hand vehicle “used,” the term can only be applied theoretically to this 2022 Ford GT Carbon Series, which shows just 12 miles (20 km) on its odometer, and is now for sale.
Introduced with the very serious goal of winning its class at Le Mans in 2016 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ford’s first victory over Ferrari at the legendary endurance race, the Ford GT is an impressive, race-bred supercar.
This is one of a limited number of Carbon Series models that were sold to hand-picked buyers by Ford. That means that this might be your first opportunity to get your hands on one, even if you could afford it when it was new. This particular GT is even more special, as it boasts a selection of careful additions that make it an even more serious performer than the regular car.

Thanks to a polycarbonate rear hatch, carbon fiber wheels with titanium nuts, and a titanium exhaust system, the Carbon Series is 40 lbs (18 kg) lighter than the standard Ford GT. As a later model, this one also benefits from the updated engine. Capable of churning out 660 hp (492 kW/669 PS), it gets 13 more horses (9.6 kW/13.1 PS) than earlier versions of the supercar.
Equipped with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, an air suspension, adjustable pedals, an adjustable steering wheel, a navigation system, a backup camera, and a retractable rear spoiler, it’s a shame that this example has driven so little. Thanks to that lack of action, its attractive Frozen White finish with red accent presents perfectly, though.
Offered in “as new” condition, it was first delivered in Germany, and is being sold at RM Sotheby’s Paris auction, following a comprehensive pre-delivery service by Multimatic UK. Estimates suggest that it could sell for as much as $1.1 million.
