The Genesis X Speedium Coupe is one of the most beautiful concept cars unveiled in recent years and the carmaker has just showcased it in a compelling shade of white.

When first presented in early 2022, the X Speedium Coupe was bathed in a dark shade of green that suited it very nicely. The X Speedium Coupe presented in these official renderings from the Korean manufacturer has been showcased in snowy conditions and the new white paint looks excellent. The firm’s designers have also gone to the trouble of adding some new LED driving lights at the front while also equipping it with a roof rack and a set of skis.

The all-white concept also recently starred in a Christmas video that Genesis dropped last month that we somehow missed at the time. It shows Santa drifting the X Speedium Coupe along a snow-covered road while transporting a Christmas tree on the roof and being followed by a handful of reindeer.  While it’s entirely CGI, it makes us even more desperate to see the concept spawn a production model.

Genesis has not confirmed if the X Speedium Coupe will spawn a production model. However, last March, Genesis head of product planning Mark Choi suggested that the carmaker was investigating the possibility of building the X Speedium Coupe as well as its X Coupe and X Convertible concepts. He said the marque had received great feedback on all three concepts and said the firm’s next step was to see if building them is feasible.

While Genesis figures this one out, its designers took things to the extreme late last year, unveiling its crazy X Gran Berlinetta concept in December. The car has been designed for Gran Turismo and features a mid-mounted V6 engine and an electric motor, combining to produce 1,071 hp and 986 lb-ft (1,337 Nm) of torque.
