Mercedes-AMG made just 275 examples of its wild 1,049 hp (782 kW) F1-inspired hypercar dubbed ONE. Under its skin is a modern-day 1.6-liter Formula 1 powertrain that pushed Mercedes “to its limits.” Access to this modern marvel was incredibly difficult to obtain but now ONE has popped up for sale on the second-hand market.

It’s almost comical to call this second-hand though because its listing says it has zero miles on the odometer. The next owner doesn’t need to have a close relationship with Mercedes to put the first non-factory miles on this monster though. They’ll likely need well in excess of the original $2.93 million asking price that Mercedes put on the ONE.

Of course, for that cash, they’ll get a special car that can do 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and then race on to a top speed of 217 mph (349 km/h). It’s not just fast in a straight line either. The ONE also holds the lap record at the Nurburgring with a time of 6:35.183. That’s over 3.5 seconds faster than the previous record holder.

It also managed to lap the Nurburgring GP Circuit in 1:56.096 which is a full 16 seconds ahead of the now-second-place car, a Porsche 911 GT3. In case that wasn’t enough, it holds the lap record at Red Bull Ring and Hockenheimring. The F1 connections in this car aren’t just for flash, it’s actually record-setting fast.

This ONE is available right now at F1rst Motors in Dubai. That location is key though because getting it into North America likely won’t be as simple as shipping it over. In June of 2022, it told customers that it wouldn’t ship the car to the U.S. and Canada because regulations would ruin it. Hopefully, this car ends up with an owner who puts a lot more miles on it.
