With a growing number of Tesla Cybertrucks reaching the hands of customers, more and more owners are turning to aftermarket firms to have their electric pickup trucks wrapped in a variety of different colors and finishes.
While Tesla’s decision to only offer the Cybertruck with an exposed stainless steel finish could be viewed as nothing more than a cost-cutting measure, it could result in a boom in business for wrap specialists across the United States.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a matte black Cybertruck, one bathed in matte white, and another finished in a stunning shade of gloss black. This latest creation comes courtesy of OCDetailing and the owner of this Cybertruck opted to have it finished in a beautiful shade of midnight purple that we think works beautifully with the flat lines and sharp edges of the electric pickup.
The company based out of Fremont, California, notes that this isn’t just a typical vinyl wrap either but instead equivalent to a paint protection film and is more than twice as thick as a normal vinyl produced by 3M.
As such, it is said to provide excellent protection against rock chips, scratches, insects, and bird droppings and should also last longer, perfect for Cybertruck owners who may use their vehicles in their dirt and may not wash them all that often.

Further adding to the protection of this Cybertruck is a ceramic coating that has been placed across many of the exterior surfaces, including the gloss black roof rails, and even the aero covers on the wheels.
A pair of other Cybertrucks have also been recently wrapped by OCDetailing over the past month. One of them is wrapped in matte black while the other is clad in a chrome paint protection film that gives the original stainless steel panels an eye-watching smooth matte finish.
