Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has published renderings of the track-focused but road-legal SCG004CS that’s currently being developed.
The small company unveiled the ‘regular’ SCG004S street car last November and only recent finalized its engine plans for the vehicle. At the same time, Glickenhaus is also developing a race-only version dubbed the 004C that’s set to compete in GTE, GTLM, GT3, and GT4 racing around the world. The 004CS pictured is the road-legal version of that race car.
Millionaires will have yet another track car to choose from
Like the regular SCG004S, both the 004C and 004CS will use a modified version of the twin-turbo 3.8-liter VR38DETT V6 engine powering the Nissan GT-R. Power output in the 004C will be dependent on racing regulations but the street car will deliver roughly 690 hp. With the shackles unleashed, the range-topping 004CS is expected to produce around 900 hp.
While the 004CS will be sold to private collectors, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus also intends on racing the model at the Nurburgring 24 Hours in 2020. If all goes to plan, James Glickenhaus will drive the 004CS from his hotel to Green Hell where its engine will be swapped out and it’ll compete in the gruelling endurance race.
Pricing details for the 004CS haven’t been announced but the firm has approval to build up to 325 examples of the 004S and 004CS.
