They say that two things in life are certain, death and taxes. But I’d like to add a third: Mustangs will always be popular in America. As the third-gen model, commonly referred to as the Fox body Mustang, continues its transition from old to classic, exciting low-mile examples are coming out of the woodwork, like this 1993 model.

You could hardly imagine a more perfectly preserved example of the Mustang SVT Cobra, as this particular model has just 34 original miles (55 km) on the odometer. Not only hasn’t it been driven, but the selling dealer, Cleveland’s Marshall Goldman, says it has been very well taken care of.

“This EXTRAORDINARILY original Cobra still has its factory installed oil filter – beyond a new battery we see NO changes from the day it left the assembly line in Dearborn,” the dealer says. “Not only has it never been used in any way, it was stored so well and in such perfect conditions that the entire car looks like it arrived in our dealership via a time machine instead of a transport truck.”

34-Mile Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Will Cost You New Porsche 911 Money

Marshall Goldman reports that the car has its original VIN sticker and that a good amount of the original protective plastic is still inside. You can even see the original window sticker, showing you just how much the car has appreciated over the last 30 years. And it’s a lot. Think of a brand-new Porsche 911 Carrera 4S money.

For this pristine example, the dealer is asking for a whopping $145,900. That’s enough to get you into a Porsche Carrera 4S with some change left over for a few options. It’s also only slightly less than you’d need to buy a 718 Cayman GT4 RS, widely considered to be one of the finest sports cars on sale today.

But the factory is still building those, and it’s unclear how many more ’90s Mustangs with so few miles are left. However, if you’re in the market for one, and you don’t mind if it was driven a tiny bit more, Marshall Goldman has you covered.

The dealership has a fascinating collection of other 1993 Mustang SVT Cobras with anywhere from 503 miles to 11,463, and ranging in price from $75,900 to $129,900. They’ve even got a few Mustang GT Convertibles that are in equally good condition if your budget is a little lower than that.
