- 2023 and 2024 Toyota bZ4X and VW ID.4 examples are discounted
- Discounts for the bZ4X top out at $10,000 while the ID.4 is available at up to $12,500 off
- VW is providing a dealer bonus of up to $5,000
Compelling discounts for the Toyota bZ4X and Volkswagen ID.4 are now available in the U.S. market, making these all-electric crossovers a little more compelling. Whether or not these discounts will have a significant impact on sales remains to be seen.
In the case of the 2024 Toyota bZ4X, New York residents can pick up the keys to one for $299 per month for 36 months with $3,999 due at signing and an allowance of 10,000 miles per year. A lease cash deal also makes the bZ4X available with a 1.99% APR for up to 72 months, as well as $2,500 in TFS APR Cash. All up, those in New York can get a bZ4X with a $10,000 discount.

Residents in other states can also get the new Toyota EV with up to $9,000 in lease cash. Anyone in New York looking to maximize their savings would be wise to look at the 2023 bZ4X as it is offered with $12,500 in lease cash.
Then we have the VW ID.4. VW’s most well-rounded EV is eligible with $7,500 in national lease cash, like so many other new EVs on the market. Shoppers can also buy it with a Dealer Bonus worth up to $5,000. Both of these offers can be used together, meaning a saving of up to $12,500 is available.
The available dealer bonus varies on the trim level. It is capped at $1,000 for the ID.4 Standard, increases to $2,250 for the S RWD and Pro RWD trims, $3,250 for the Pro AWD, $4,000 for the Pro S RWD, and tops out at $5,000 for the ID.4 Pro S AWD. This dealer bonus deal will end on April 30.
Like the bZ4X, the 2023 ID.4s are even cheaper. Cars Direct notes last year’s ID.4 Pro S AWD is available with up to $13,000 in discounts. If leased, it is available for as little as $379 per month for 36 months with $4,499 due at signing for California residents.
