- The first Gymkhana film was low-budget and starred a Subaru WRX STI.
- Hoonigan’s final Gymkhana film with Block featured a bespoke Audi known as the Hoonitron.
- The series saw the rally driver travel around the world.
Ken Block might no longer be amongst us, having perished at a snowmobiling accident, but to take us down memory lane, the Hoonigan team has dropped an awesome 2.5-hour film featuring each Gymkhana video starring Block.
The first Gymkhana video was released back in 2008 and was the first that came across our radar all those years ago. In fact, I remember watching the video when I was in high school and was blown away by the driving skill Block demonstrated in his Subaru WRX STI rally car. He drifts it around an empty airfield and performs some epic handbrake turns. The film finishes with Block doing donuts around a man riding a segway.

Those behind the Gymkhana series stepped up the production quality significantly with Gymkhana Two: The Infomercial. It again highlights Block’s pinpoint driving and also features a Subaru WRX STI. For Gymkhana Three: Ultimate Playground, the rally driver swapped his Subaru for a Ford Fiesta, a car he also drove in the fourth, fifth, and sixth iterations. Of these, Gymkhana Five is the most special as it was filmed on the streets of San Francisco.
Of all the Gymkhana films, the seventh is one of the most memorable as it was the first to feature the Hoonicorn, a completely custom Ford Mustang that would go on to play a starring role in a series of other films from Block and the Hoonigan team, including Climbkana One filmed at Pikes Peak and Gymkhana Ten.
This epic compilation also includes Climbkhana Two filmed at Tianmen Mountain in China as well as both Electrikhana One and Two, filmed in Las Vegas and Mexico City respectively.
