- While not pictured, dAHLer also offers 21-inch forged wheels for the M3 CS.
- Owners who want some additional theater from the engine bay can purchase a carbon fiber air intake.
- BMW will soon launch a two-door M4 CS with similar specs to the M3 CS.
The BMW M3 CS is an almost-perfect sports sedan and does not need any modifications. Nevertheless, dAHLer has released several upgrades for the sports model that don’t just boost its performance, but also make it even more exciting to look at.
Let’s start with the visuals, shall we? While the tuner does offer a bespoke set of 21-inch forged wheels for the car, it hasn’t fitted them to this example and opted to instead install wheel spaces, ensuring the OEM wheels sit perfectly flush with the fenders. The M3 CS also includes a set of coilovers that allow for the ride height to be adjusted as well as changes made to the compression and rebound.

BMW M3 owners who don’t want to go to the extreme of installing coilovers can opt for cheaper lowering springs that drop the ride height by 24 mm (0.9 inches) at the front and 3 mm (0.1 inches) at the rear.
Some work has also been done on the M3 CS’s powertrain. As standard, the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder delivers 543 hp and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. A simple Stage 1 software tune lifts these figures to 630 hp and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm). Owners can also opt for a carbon fiber air intake. dAHLer also sells a stainless steel exhaust system that replaces the standard titanium system.
All of these upgrades are also offered on standard M3 and M4 models so owners of these cars needn’t worry about missing out.
The standard BMW M3 CS will soon get a Coupe sibling in the form of the M4 CS. This new model has been in the works for quite some time and should benefit from all the same upgrades as the M4 CS. This means a power edge over the standard M4 and M4 Competition, as well as some fancy carbon fiber add-ons.
