ABT America has plenty of experience modifying and upgrading the Audi Q8 since its launch in 2018, and they just released a slew of new upgrades.
ABT has started by tweaking the standard engine of the Q8 and the sportier SQ8. Equipped with a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine with 335 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque, the standard Q8 is no slouch but ABT’s new engine control software increases these figures to an even more impressive 400 hp and 405 lb-ft (549 Nm).

Engine software tweaks have also been made to the SQ8’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, boosting power from 500 hp and 569 lb-ft (771 Nm) to an extraordinary 640 hp and 626 lb-ft (849 Nm), giving the SUV even more punch than an RS Q8.
Like most products from ABT, the 2024 Q8 also receives several styling add-ons. These include carbon fiber inserts on the front wheel arches and a roof-mounted lip but the most significant upgrade is the 22- and 23-inch HR and GR wheels that are fully-forged and weigh up to 40% less than the conventional cast wheels.
Some minor tweaks have also been made to the cabin of the Q8. For example, ABT has installed a carbon fiber shift knob cover and added carbon fiber accents to the dashboard and front seat panels.
ABT’s upgrades for the Q8 and SQ8 aren’t exactly cheap. The power upgrade for the standard Q8 costs $1,990 while the power upgrade for the SQ8 is priced at $3,990. As for the carbon fiber fender inserts and rear lip spoiler, they are priced at $1,220 and $950 respectively. Prices for the 22-inch and 23-inch wheels vary between $4,150 and $4,890 depending on the size and the design.
