Many moons ago, the convertible versions of high-performance sports cars and supercars were generally considered softer and less dynamic than their hardtop counterparts. That’s not the case anymore, and if we were in the market for a new Chevy Corvette Z06, we’d probably opt for the Convertible. This car is right up our alley and might interest you, too.
In the U.S., the Corvette Z06 Convertible starts at $118,795, but this is not a base model. It has been fitted with $33,275 in optional extras and had an original MSRP of $160,820. Its options include $11,995 visible carbon fiber wheels, $8,495 carbon ceramic brakes, a front nose lift, and red-painted brake calipers.

Adorning the exterior of the mid-engined supercar is a shade called Hypersonic Gray Metallic, contrasted with a carbon fiber lip spoiler at the rear and a carbon diffuser. The Z06 has only been driven 104 miles (167 km) since the original owner took delivery, and as such, the paint appears to be pristine. The car has a clean Montana title and two keys and will be sold with all the original accessories.
While the outside of the car is relatively restrained, the same can’t be said about the cabin. Immediately catching the eye are heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable GT2 bucket seats clad in Adrenaline Red leather. Torch Red seatbelts are also featured, and the car features a Bose sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an eight-inch touchscreen.
The engine is arguably the most desirable part of the C8 Corvette Z06. It is a screaming 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 with a flat-plane crank that produces 670 hp and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque. This engine is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels through an electronic limited-slip differential.
