- YouTuber WhistlinDiesel, known for destroying vehicles in his videos, has acquired a Tesla Cybertruck and Ford F-150 for his next video.
- Both trucks are labelled as “Test Subjects” with crash test decals hinting at the cruelty of the upcoming torture tests.
- WhislinDiesel’s followers seem particularly gleeful about the Cybertruck’s impending doom.
Tesla Cybertruck’s lead engineer, Wes Morrill, recently pleaded with folks to spare the truck from further torment. But alas, a fresh post by Cody Detwiler, aka YouTube’s WhistlinDiesel, shows that the EV’s trials are far from over. As if subjecting the Cybertruck to agony wasn’t sufficient, the controversial YouTuber has now acquired a Ford F-150, set to endure the same torturous fate in an upcoming video.
The first hint of YouTuber WhistlinDiesel’s next demolition derby contender was teased to his 4.2 million Instagram followers last week. Detwiler, who calls himself “the CEO of destruction”, perched himself atop the Cybertruck’s origami nightmare of a roof, now sporting some…questionable decals

The stickers resemble those typically found on crash test vehicles, featuring yellow and black graphics. This specific Cybertruck is dubbed as “the unluckiest truck in the world,” being as WhistlinDiesel’s “Test Subject 001.” Additionally, a black “Dead Man Walking” decal adorns the doors beneath a corresponding Tesla emblem, alongside multiple warnings regarding the imminent filming.
Just a few days ago, the YouTuber shared another Instagram post, this time showcasing a silver Ford F-150. Decorated with similar decals, it’s dubbed as “Test Subject 002.” Moreover, the Cybertruck can be spotted in the background, hinting that both rivals will make an appearance in the same video.

In the F-150 post, Cody remarked, “Sorry Ford, you’re involved in this too…” followed by, “This has been so long in the making it’s not even funny.” Unsurprisingly, his fans got excited in the comments section, awaiting for the torture tests that both trucks are going to endure.
Some speculate that the Cybertruck won’t be as durable as the Ford, while others said it’s going to be a stainless steel (Tesla) VS metal (Ford) battle. WhistlinDiesel, joined the comments, saying that the Tesla is “about to really, really, really hit the fan”.
In another post on YouTube, Cody mentioned it will be a “very wild summer”, showing the Cybertruck next to a massive battle tank which could be a humorous reference to the EV’s bulletproof claims. He also revealed that Tesla ignored his DMs, adding that “it may be for them too”.
Been there, done that
Cody has earned a reputation for his penchant for destroying different kinds of vehicles, boasting 7.36 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel. In his previous encounter with a Tesla, WhistlinDiesel put massive wheels on a Model 3, driving it both regularly and upside down before letting it roll down a hill and crash. Judging from earlier videos featuring trucks, the Cybertruck isn’t going to make it in one piece.
