- Lexus and Monogram have teamed up to create a mobile bar on wheels.
- The resulting concept has a pizza oven as well as storage compartments for wine and bourbon.
- There are no plans to put the GX Monogram into production.
We’ve seen plenty of interesting collabs over the years, but Lexus has just announced one of the strangest. They’ve teamed up with luxury appliance brand Monogram to create a GX with a drinking problem.
Set to debut at Aspen’s Food & Wine Classic later this week, the Monogram GX concept sports a stylish exterior with bronze accents and a ridiculous roof rack. The SUV also has custom wheels, a split tailgate, and ‘fake’ third quarter glass. The latter are actually compartments that hold wine and bourbon as well as glasses and a bottle opener.

The special touches continue inside as there’s black and camel leather with a custom pattern. The model also has four individual seats that are separated by a full-length center console. The latter has a table for rear seat passengers as well as a “cold console” compartment.
Speaking of cold, there’s a heated ice press – located between the rear seats – that creates spheres of ice to help chill drinks. Elsewhere, there are brass, titanium, and stone accents.
Some of the biggest changes occur out back as the cargo compartment houses an electric pizza oven. It’s joined by cutlery and trash bins as well as a pizza paddle and a makeshift bar.
While the concept is a stone’s throw away from a trip to AA, it features a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 with 349 hp (260 kW / 354 PS) and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system. This setup enables the regular model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 6.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 109 mph (175 km/h).
