• A 2008 Corvette Z51 has been drastically transformed with a comprehensive Valarra bodykit
  • Found beneath the skin are new BC Racing coilovers and an aftermarket exhaust.
  • No modifications have been made to the LS3 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8.

This wild creation, resembling an intricate kit car built in someone’s shed, is actually a C6-generation Chevrolet Corvette dressed up in a wild aftermarket body kit. If you want an example of how to ruin a perfectly good sports car, this is how to do it.

All of the ‘Vette’s original body panels have been removed and replaced with a Valarra body kit. This comprehensive kit includes thoroughly revised front and rear fascias, new door skins, and distinctive lights. However, the design looks like one of those oddball supercars from Grand Theft Auto. But hey, if you want a Corvette that screams “look at me” for all the wrong reasons, this car certainly delivers.

The side profile of the car is particularly dramatic. Not only does it feature new rocker panels, skirts, and doors, but it also sits on a set of 20-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels. Found at the back is a huge chassis-mounted rear wing and a diffuser that would make the Aston Martin Valkyrie proud. Cars & Bids is selling the car and notes it also rocks BC Racing adjustable coilovers and an aftermarket exhaust.

Adorning the crazy body is a shade of Hockenheim Silver Metallic, which, in this author’s opinion, is just about the only nice aspect of this car’s exterior.

As a 2008 model, this car is equipped with an LS3 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, producing 430 hp and 424 lb-ft (575 Nm) of torque. This engine drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.

It also features the Z51 Performance Package, which includes cross-drilled brake rotors, revised gear ratios, and new stabilizer bars. Additionally, it left the factory with the 4LT Package, which includes extended leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated seats, a head-up display, and a Bose sound system.

The Valarra comes with a clean Carfax report and has 77,500 miles (~125,000 km) on the clock. If you’re interested in owning it, head over to Cars & Bids where it has a high bid of nearly $63,000 at the time of writing.
