American car enthusiasts have a problem. If they want a car that was never sold in the USA, they’ll have to wait til it’s at least 25 years old to buy it. Then, they’ll need to figure out how to import it and register it. Now, TVR fans have a one-stop shop that handles these tedious tasks for them. It’s called TVR Garage, and it offers a slew of benefits over trying to do it yourself.

TVR Garage collaborates with Str8six in the UK to inspect and restore TVRs available for purchase. Acting like a matchmaking service, it pairs the right car with the prospective buyer. At this stage, TVR Garage handles the importing and titling of the car. It also shakes the car down one more time before delivery.

That means any TVR made 25 or more years ago is fair game, including the Cerbera, Tuscan, and Chimaera. It’s almost as if the dealer here has gone back in time, as it knows which models are coming soon too. The Tuscan Speed Six, Tamora, T350, and even the Sagaris will be headed to the USA in the not-too-distant future.

TVR Garage launched in 2023 and made an appearance on Jay Leno’s Garage earlier this year. As of this writing, it offers a pair of Tuscan S models available that are still sitting in the UK waiting for a buyer. A Metallic Olymipic Blue Griffith 500 is sitting in Arizona right now waiting for its forever home. It’s priced at $59,950.

Don’t get us wrong, TVR Garage is offering a set of services and hoping to make a profit from it. Those with the skills, know-how, and drive to get a TVR or any other import car to the US have more resources today than ever before. However one does it, the result is still the same, great enthusiast vehicles available for those who have always wanted them.
