Collabs are all the rage these days and BMW Motorrad is hopping on the trend train with the new CE 02 x Vagabund. It’s a stylish electric motorcycle that features a host of retro-inspired touches.
BMW didn’t say much about the concept, but we can see an expressive two-tone design with a unique front fender as well as a yellow hoop. They’re joined by white wheels and a tan seat that provides some much needed contrast.

Other highlights include a speaker-like accent and a removable OB-4 Magic Radio from Teenage Engineering. The latter is a $549+ Bluetooth speaker with an integrated FM radio.
The model sports an ‘electric exhaust,’ which is a cylindrical compartment that opens to reveal an umbrella. Designers also gave the bike a “running board with skateboard grip tape” to reflect a “sporty, urban eParkourer style.”
Like the standard model, the concept should have two removable 1.96 kWh battery packs as well as an electric motor developing 15 hp (11 kW / 15 PS) and 41 lb-ft (55 Nm) of torque. This setup enables the standard bike to accelerate from 0-30 mph (0-48 km/h) in three seconds and travel approximately 59 miles (95 km) on a single charge. When the batteries are dead, the optional quick charger can take them from 0% to 80% in around three hours.
While this particular bike is a one-off, the 2024 BMW CE 02 starts at $7,599 and is available now.
