Aston Martin has kicked off the teaser campaign for the 2025 Vanquish and previewed the soundtrack of the car’s reworked twin-turbocharged V12.
The British car manufacturer has cleared its social media pages and posted a teaser that reads ‘All Will Be Vanquished.’ This image shows blue skies and a mountain range but doesn’t actually tease the new Vanquish itself. However, Aston Martin’s website has been updated and includes a 34-second clip that showcases the car’s V12 and previews its soundtrack.

Aston Martin has confirmed the 2025 Vanquish features a strengthened block, new conrods, and a redesigned top-end. It also rocks a pair of improved turbochargers and will pump out 824 hp and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. The V12’s camshafts have also been changed, more powerful fuel injectors have been installed, and there are new intake and exhaust ports. All of these changes combine to make the V12 much more powerful than the DBS 770 Ultimate, which topped out at 760 hp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm).
This teaser shows the top of the engine will be adorned with a carbon fiber cover but makes no mention of the V12’s displacement. It sounds very mean, although it doesn’t have the same intoxicating growl as Aston Martin’s old naturally-aspirated V12s. That’s the price you pay for better performance, fuel economy, and lower emissions.
The design and shape of the Vanquish isn’t expected to be dramatically different from existing Aston Martin models, like the DB12. It will rock a large front grille finished in black, a shapely hood, and oval-shaped headlights. Although the front will be quite conventional, spy shots suggest the rear will be very different due to the presence of small LED taillights, unlike any other Aston Martin.
A date for the 2025 Vanquish’s premiere has not been announced, with the marque simply stating that it is ‘Coming Soon.’ We expect to see the car unveiled before the end of the year.
