For many of us, falconry is a bit of a mystery, but it’s practiced all around the world and has long been particularly popular throughout the Middle East. Now, two European firms have collaborated to celebrate the Arabian world of falconry with a one-of-one Mercedes-Benz G-Class and a special hunting rifle.
The two companies in question are Carlex Design and VO Falcon. Carlex, which first made a new for itself with wild interior transformations, has spent the last four years crafting the finest G-Class imaginable. Now known as the G-Falcon, the most remarkable aspect of the special Mercedes is a hand-painted and engraved mural of a falcon spanning the entire roof.

The Polish firm has then adorned the bodywork in a unique metallic bronze shade that makes it look like automotive royalty. A revised front fascia is also visible, as are flared wheel arches, new rocker panels, and a distinctive bumper. Color-matched wheels add to the 4×4’s mystic, as does a unique spare wheel cover that reads ‘G-Falcon.’
Carlex has gone to town on the G-Wagen’s interior, too. The dashboard, steering wheel, transmission tunnel, seats, and door panels are wrapped in a deep shade of red leather. There are then hand-stitched fabric murals on the doors and center console, as well as several exposed metal components. The G-Class even sports custom door locks, designed to look like a falcon’s talon.
The rifle from VO Falcon is also rather special and includes falcon motifs, a wooden barrel, and will be delivered in a special leather case. This custom rifle was produced in 2010 and will now be sold as a package with the bespoke G-Falcon from Carlex.
These two extraordinary pieces of art will be presented together at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2024.
