September 1 marks Pink Cadillac Day and it coincides with the FIA WEC Lone Star Le Mans race in Austin, Texas. To celebrate the occasion, Cadillac Design and Cadillac Racing have joined forces to unveil a special pink livery for the V-Series.R.
Designed to honor the history of colorful Cadillacs, the race car wears an eye-catching pink exterior that gracefully fades to black. They’re joined by blue and white accents as well as plenty of Cadillac badging.

The car will be on display at the race and it’s also heading to Forza Motorsport. The pink livery will be available for download later today.
While pink Cadillacs are often associated with Mary Kay, they were popularized by Elvis Presley. After his original pink 1954 Fleetwood Series 60 was destroyed in a fire, he got a 1955 Fleetwood and had it painted a custom pink color known as “Elvis Rose.” The legendary singer also mentioned a pink Cadillac in the song Baby, Let’s Play House.
As for Mary Kay, their car program was launched in 1969 and was “started by Mary Kay Ash to reward the best of the best.” The cosmetics company said there are currently over 3,600 career cars on the road including over 1,000 Pink Cadillacs. The latest versions are pink XT5 crossovers.
