- Wald published renderings of a heavily modified Land Cruiser Prado (J250).
- The off-roader gains wide fenders, bespoke bumpers, and a roof extension.
- The tuner previewed lowered and lifted versions with different sets of wheels.
The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is the focus of the latest project by Wald International. The Japanese tuner published a set of renderings, previewing a series of extensive visual modifications, combined with a slammed road-focused or a lifted all-terrain setup.
At the front, Wald’s Land Cruiser Prado (J250) features a bespoke bumper with complex intakes, a skid plate, and integrated LEDs. These are joined by a large hood scoop and a dark treatment for the grille and headlights.

The profile is highlighted by the wide fender extensions, covering the massive aftermarket wheels and the notably wider tracks. The first variant rides on a set of six-spoke wheels wrapped in grippy all-terrain rubber, with a lift kit contributing to a generous ground clearance.
Alternatively, Wald can retrofit large-diameter alloy wheels shod in performance tires, together with a lowering kit. This option will limit the off-road potential of the Land Cruiser, but judging from rival SUVs it certainly has an audience.
Other modifications include an aerodynamic roof extension with extra LEDs and an oversized rear spoiler. The tuner didn’t show the back view, but we expect a redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser structure replacing the aluminum-style skid plate of the original.
There’s no word on whether Wald will offer any performance upgrades for the Land Cruiser. In any case, interested parties can always find ways to increase the power output of the hybrid, gasoline, or diesel engine of their Toyota (depending on the market).
While it is not clear how much the finished product will deviate from the renderings, Wald’s take on the Land Cruiser will likely resonate with those who want a head-turning SUV. According to the teaser on Instagram, the tuning kit will be fully unveiled soon.
