One of Bentley’s dealerships in California has worked hand-in-hand with the Mulliner bespoke studio to create four special Continental GT Speed Convertibles for its most discerned clients. The four vehicles form part of the ‘Expressions of Texture’ Collection.
The dealer, Bentley Rancho Mirage, is set in the desert resort city and its surroundings, including the Coachella Valley and towering mountains, served as inspiration for the vehicles. All four feature distinctive satin paint from the Mulliner palette, and each paint job took 55 hours to perfect.

One of the quartet is bathed in Peacock Blue, a color inspired by the night skies across the region. It also features several areas clad in satin carbon fiber, Electro Blue, and Peacock Blue. This eye-catching theme continues into the cabin with Peacock Blue accents, Electro Blue pinstripes, and Slate stone veneer.
Another car from the collection is inspired by the nearby sand dunes and is painted in Ghost White Pearl satin, complete with Tungsten wheels and a Silver Tempest pinstripe. Custom quilting is also found across the seats. Perhaps the highlight of this model is a tonneau cover with graphics inspired by the desert dunes. Bentley says it took 100s of hours to create.
The collection also has a Continental GT Speed Convertible painted in Havana satin. It, too, features a unique tonneau cover, although it sports a topographic map of California’s Death Valley. This map has also been carved into the floor mats. Bentley’s designers have also added Copper Stone veneer to the interior as well as a Bronze pinstripe. The final car is painted in British Racing Green satin.
“We hope that the Expressions of Texture Collection will inspire customers to explore the full range of possibilities offered by the Mulliner bespoke studio. At Mulliner our goal is to inspire possibilities beyond their imagination,” Mulliner chief commercial officer David Parker described.
