Fords Keep Smashing Into This Building In North Carolina

Two Fords smashed into the same check-cashing business in Raleigh, North Carolina, over two consecutive days late last month. Unfortunately for the owner of the business, lighting struck twice, leaving the building with extensive damage that‘ll likely be extremely expensive to repair.

The bizarre series of events started on November 28 when a Ford F-Series pickup truck slammed into the corner of the building. According to a witness who saw the crash unfold, the grey pickup was traveling along New Bern Avenue at high speed when it veered off the road and knocked down a power pole. It then hit a small dirt embankment and flew into the small business.

The force of the impact crumpled a big chunk of the brick, and police had to be called to help free the driver. Fortunately, they didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries.

Now, it’s not unusual for vehicles to crash into buildings. We write about accidents like these all the time. What is weird is that the next day, on November 29, a second car crashed into the same check-cashing business. That car was a bright red Ford Mustang Convertible, and bizarrely, it crashed into the same corner as the pickup truck the day before. However, it didn’t directly follow the path of the F-Series and made the gaping hole in the building a lot bigger.

According to WRAL, the driver of the Mustang claims another vehicle hit them and sent them into the property.

We’re hoping that insurance can deal with the repairs without the business owner having to fork out a significant amount of cash to repair the property. No business owner deserves to be left with a big repair bill come into the holiday season.
