- Images of a badly crashed Lamborghini Revuelto have appeared online.
- The V12 hybrid supercar can be seen minus a wheel and with multiple airbags deployed.
- Reports suggest a service driver wrecked the car before delivering it to the new owner.
Imagine waiting patiently for a couple of years, maybe more, for your brand new supercar to be delivered, only to be told that the car has been totaled before you’ve even had a chance to slide behind the wheel. That’s reportedly what happened to the sorry-looking Lamborghini Revuelto in these pictures.
Though we don’t yet know the full story behind the crash, it appears to have happened in Lebanon and allegedly involved a service technician who was on his way to gas up the V12 before it could be handed over to its new owner, Supercar Fails says.

The images show the eye-popping Verde Citrea exotic in a real mess after what looks like a major collision with a sign post and possibly something even more substantial. The Revuelto – which is still sold out for two years – is nudged up against a wall off the road with its frunk folded back on itself and multiple airbags deployed.
A shot from the passenger makes the damage not appear too bad, but the driver’s side is a different story. The door has crumpled like a piece of foil and the offside-front wheel is missing – it’s lying around 25 ft (7.6 m) away next to a felled signpost. You’ve got to expect that the carbon chassis structure has taken a nasty hit.
Though details are sketchy, it’s almost inevitable that the driver was using too much of the V12 hybrid’s available 1,001 hp (1,015 PS). That sounds like a lot of power, but with all-wheel drive and stability control systems that default to ON when you start the ignition, modern supercars like this don’t bite unless provoked.
The pictures from the scene show the ground is dry, not wet, and although it’s possible the road could have been icy, a quick look at the weather for the past couple of weeks in Lebanon reveals every day has been 62-66 degrees F (17-19 C).
Scanning the web we came across some pics and a video on Instagram that could be of the wrecked car before its destruction. In a December 13 post, a man who says he’s a supercar dealer in Lebanon describes the green Revuelto on his account as being finished in Verde Citrea with a Rosso Alala/Nero Ade interior and a full carbon package. The text also says the pristine car is one of only four Revueltos in Lebanon. Hmm, better make that three.
