Japanese company White House has introduced a camper conversion for the Honda Freed minivan, offering numerous personalization options.

The goal of the Style_iD program is to allow owners to customize their camper based on their age, gender, and lifestyle. The Honda Freed Crosstar was chosen as the donor car for the first iteration, but other models are set to follow.

The company – which also makes a camper version of the Suzuki Jimny – has shown four examples of the minivan, targeting different audiences. The Weekend Trail is designed for families, the Forest Trek for serious campers, the Nature Lover targets active outdoor women, while the Three-Way Camper was created for “calm adult campers”.

Among the options there is a pop-up roof allowing extra space for sleeping, or a roof rack for carrying all kinds of gear. One of the pictured examples is fitted with a protective bull bar on the front bumper, while another features decorative stickers on the profile. The color palette includes 20 shades, with various bi-tone options.

Overall, White House claims there are more than 20 configurable parts on the Honda Freed Crosstar camper. A configurator is expected to go live soon on the dedicated website, showcasing all of the available options.

The aforementioned variations of the Honda Freed Crosstar Style_iD camper were exhibited at the Japan Camper Show 2025, held last weekend in the Makuhari Messe venue near Tokyo. Unfortunately, White House has only shared a single photo from the event, focusing on the Weekend Trail derivative with a pop-up roof, an awning, and a collection of camping furniture.

The third generation of the Freed was introduced last year, retaining its position below the larger Step WGN in Honda’s minivan lineup for the Japanese market. It is available in Air and Crosstar trims, with the latter adding crossover-inspired features.

Under the hood lies a 1.5-liter gasoline engine or a self-charging hybrid (e:HEV) powertrain, both coming in 2WD and 4WD flavors. The Honda Freed e:HEV Crosstar is currently priced between ¥3,327,500-3,445,000 ($21,500-22,200) in Japan.
