• Michael Jordan’s son faces charges after crashing a Lamborghini and getting stuck on train tracks.
  • Marcus Jordan allegedly drove drunk onto tracks and asked officers to help push the car to the road.
  • He also name-dropped his father several times and claimed he was the target of vague attacks.

Police never know what they’re going to encounter each day, but they likely don’t plan on what officers in Florida recently dealt with. They allegedly attempted to stop a blue Lamborghini Urus only for the driver to flee the scene. Minutes later, when they caught up with the exotic SUV and its driver, they found the pair stranded deep in the gravel on a train track. What’s even crazier is that the driver seemed to believe that being the son of ex-NBA superstar Michael Jordan would get him special treatment.

That driver was Marcus Jordan, who, as seen in the video below, made sure officers knew about his famous father – repeatedly. That happened before, during, and after his arrest on charges of DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest. Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s lay out some reports.

Reports indicate that Seminole County deputies had already been searching for a blue Lamborghini after it allegedly fled a traffic stop. Minutes later, the Maitland Police Department spotted what appeared to be the same SUV buried chassis-deep in the gravel on a set of train tracks nearby. When they made contact, the driver said he made a wrong turn and needed help getting the car off of the tracks.

He claimed that he was “directionally challenged.” That driver turned out to be Marcus Jordan. Police determined he was under the influence, found cocaine, and arrested him. The entire interaction was captured on video.

It’s true that few people would probably ace a direction test while under the influence. Who among us isn’t a little directionally challenged when partying? He might have had what could be perceived as a big-brain idea by taking the train tracks.

If they can support a train, why not an overweight Lamborghini? What’s more, the tracks are a safe way to avoid all but the biggest traffic available on land. In a way, we could argue that he was playing it safe by avoiding other cars!

Authorities have yet to confirm who owns the Lamborghini or how they managed to remove it from the tracks. What’s clear is that Marcus Jordan is now facing DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest charges. His next court date hasn’t been announced yet, but one thing’s for sure: it’ll be a very different kind of court than the one his father once dominated.
