Land Rover has introduced yet another ultra-limited special edition in Australia, featuring bespoke elements and a hefty price tag. The Range Rover SV Bespoke Collins Edition is limited to just five units, with a configuration inspired by a street in Melbourne.
Naming a special edition SUV after a major street in the central business district of Australia’s second-largest city might sound a little strange at first, but Land Rover had its reasons.

The company describes Collins Street as the Melbourne equivalent of the Champs-Elysees in Paris, thanks to its combination of “modern structures, artisanal craftsmanship and luxury boutiques”. Furthermore, with just five examples ever produced, they’ll be building one bespoke SUV for every million of Melbourne residents, making it a rare sight indeed.
The exterior of the Range Rover SV Bespoke Collins Edition combines a bespoke Satin Grey finish with black badging and shiny SV Bespoke side gills. This will help it blend nicely with the tarmac of the busy street. The SUV rides on 23-inch alloy wheels finished in Satin Gray, so hopefully owners will be extra careful with parallel parking in the CBD.

The interior of the Collins Edition is a little more special thanks to the Caraway and Ebony leather upholstery. This is combined with black ceramic switchgear, moonlight chrome accents, and natural black birch inserts. Furthermore, the cushions, treadplates, and seat embroidery feature the name of the special edition for added exclusivity.

Under the hood lies a mild-hybrid twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine which is good for 570 hp (452 kW / 578 PS) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the BMW-sourced powertrain, the Range Rover can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.5 seconds despite its considerable heft.
Those who want to own one of the five examples of the so-called “city jewel” by Land Rover should be willing to part ways with a little over half-a-million Australian dollars. More specifically, the Range Rover SV Bespoke Collins Edition is priced from AU$ 507,047 (US$ 318,400). This makes it slightly cheaper than the previous Aussie special, the Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition, which came with a free statue.
