Honda has given the 2026 Passport a tougher, more off-road-ready look, and now we have pricing details to match. The refreshed SUV will start at $44,750 before a $1,450 destination fee. That’s a sizable jump as its predecessor began at $42,400.

So what does that extra $2,350 get you? A stylish and well-equipped Passport RTL, which features boxy new styling, additional ground clearance, and a better approach angle. Buyers will also find a power liftgate and 18-inch wheels wrapped in 31-inch tires.

The minimalist cabin has a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system mounted on top of the dashboard. The latter features Google built-in as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other highlights include heated leather front seats and a wireless smartphone charger.

Options are fairly straightforward as there’s a $700 Tow Package that adds a Class III trailer hitch as well as two recovery points. Customers can also opt for a $1,200 Blackout Package, which includes black badges, black lug nuts, and black 18-inch wheels.

Power is provided by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel-drive system with torque vectoring technology.

The mid-level Passport TrailSport begins at $48,450 and features a lightly revised exterior with gloss black accents, LED fog lights, and amber daytime running lights. They’re joined by steel skid plates, front and rear recovery points, and a standard trailer hitch. That’s on top of an off-road-tuned suspension and unique 18-inch wheels wrapped in General Grabber all-terrain tires.

The styling changes continue inside with synthetic leather seats sporting orange contrast stitching as well as headrests with embroidered TrailSport logos. Other notable extras include a panoramic sunroof and a heated windshield.

Sitting at the top of the lineup is the TrailSport Elite, which starts at $52,450. It focuses on luxury as buyers will find perforated leather front seats with heating, ventilation, and piping. They’re joined by a heated steering wheel, a smart entry system, and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.

Rear seat passengers haven’t been forgotten as they’ll find dedicated climate controls as well as rear door shades. The range-topping variant also sports expanded ambient lighting and a 360-degree TrailWatch camera system.

Speaking of technology, all trims come with the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance systems. This means customers will find Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

The 2026 Passport is on sale now and Honda’s Jessika Laudermilk noted it’s an extremely important model as it has the “highest conquest rate of any Honda SUV.” The Passport also has “more buyers under-40 than key competitors in its segment,” which will probably make a few of us feel old.
