• The limited-run 2025 CVO Road Glide RR has a 2,153 cc engine with 153 hp and 150 lb-ft (204 Nm).
  • Harley-Davidson has installed heaps of high-end parts, including Phlins shocks and Brembo brakes.
  • Just 131 examples of the limited series motorcycle will be produced, exclusively for the U.S. market.

When most people imagine a race-bred motorcycle, Harley-Davidson is probably the last brand that comes to mind. Yet the American manufacturer, which has had its fair share of troubles in recent years, is now competing alongside Indian in the King of the Baggers racing series, where its hefty touring bikes are tearing up some of the best racetracks across the US.

Keen to celebrate its success on the circuit, Harley Davidson has unleashed a road-going replica of its race bike called the 2025 CVO Road Glide RR. Not only is it the most powerful Harley ever built for the road, but it also comes with a price tag that will make your wallet weep at $110,000. For perspective, that’s almost the same price as a brand-new Chevy Corvette Z06, which starts at $112,100. So, you know, just another Tuesday in Harley-land.

Engine: More Than Just Big

The highlight of this crazy bike is the engine. It’s a massive 2,153 cc (2.2-liter) V-twin, meaning it packs more displacement than many popular performance hatchbacks on the market. This behemoth cranks out 153 horsepower and 150 lb-ft (204 Nm) of torque. Sure, the horsepower figure might seem underwhelming when some sportbikes are pushing over 200 hp, but the torque is a whole different story. For perspective, the BMW M 1000 RR, a flagship sportbike, delivers just 83 lb-ft (113 Nm) from its 999 cc engine.

It’s not just the engine itself that’s impressive. Harley has installed a full titanium exhaust from Akrapovic and the latest and greatest brakes from Brembo. With fluids, it tips the scale at 785 lbs (356 kg), so it’s little wonder why it needs boatloads of talk to get it up to speed. Harley hasn’t quoted any performance figures, but it should be absolutely rapid.

Harley-Davidson’s Most Powerful Bike Ever Costs As Much As A New Corvette Z06

No high-performance motorcycle is complete without premium suspension, and the Road Glide RR doesn’t disappoint. Trick Ohlins suspension has been installed at the front and rear and is fully adjustable. There are also loads of lightweight carbon fiber components that help to somewhat justify the sky-high price tag. Harley has also fitted a Rockford Fosgate audio system.

Exclusivity at a Price

If you’re one of the lucky (or perhaps, unlucky, depending on your perspective) few to cough up the cash, know this: production of the 2025 CVO Road Glide RR will be limited to just 131 units, all sold in the United States. So if you’ve ever dreamt of owning a race-bred touring bike that costs as much as a high-performance sports car… well, this is your moment. Just don’t forget to take out a second mortgage to afford it.
