For the better part of a decade, Liberty Walk has been crafting dramatic widebody kits for the Dodge Challenger. While the American muscle car has since been replaced by the controversial electric Charger, the Japanese tuner is still selling kits for the discontinued model and, most recently, fitted one to a Challenger R/T.
So, if you want a Dodge that makes a similar statement to a Hellcat Widebody, but can’t afford one, this could be right up your alley. The kit includes upgrades to the front, sides, and rear of the car. In classic Liberty Walk fashion, the most obvious changes made are the fitment of bolt-on fender flares that make the Challenger look way more purposeful and like a proper widebody creation. These arches are notably wider than the OEM Challenger Widebody, although they are not body-colored but rather finished in black.

This particular Challenger R/T has also been fitted with Liberty Walk’s optional front lip. Like the fender flares, the lip appears to screw into the original front bumper and complements the rest of the wild looks. A rear, ducktail-inspired spoiler has also been added, completing the alterations made to the exterior.
To maximize the visual impact of any Challenger equipped with its widebody kit, Liberty Walk recommends owners add an air suspension kit, allowing the car’s ride height to be dropped to the floor. Even so, no creation from the Japanese firm would be complete without a set of custom wheels.
In this case, these rims are 20-inch ones that are 11-inches wide at the front and a fat 12-inches at the rear. Shod in Pirelli P Zero tires, they tuck neatly under the arches when the air suspension is lowered. Obviously, driving a Challenger as low as this one isn’t practical for day-to-day use, but it is ideal when parked in a garage or at a car show.
