Lamborghini’s latest entry-level supercar, the Huracan, has already laid down its credentials on more than one occasion.

With a naturally aspirated V10 mounted in the middle, rear- or all-wheel drive, depending on the version, clever engineering and an eye-catching design, it’s definitely a dream ride.

Over the years, the Huracan has been unleashed on the drag strip many times. From the stock models challenged by various vehicles to examples with over 2,000 horsepower, and, of course, the highly desirable Performante, the Huracan has raced a lot of cars. Now the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has added its name on that list.

In top-spec, equipped with the Demon Crate, drag radials and 100 octane fuel in its tank, the American muscle car puts out 840 horsepower. That’s already some 240 HP more than the stock Huracan LP610-4 for just a fraction of the Italian machine’s price.

However, as we have come to know, laying down all of that power is very tricky in the case of the Demon, which is why it lost to vehicles such as the McLaren 570S in the past.

So, surely the devilish machine is no match for a Lamborghini Huracan, right? The answer lies in the video shared below, which shows the two going down the drag strip for three 1/4-mile races. This should be more than enough to solve the dispute, wouldn’t you say?
